Upton Hall Fun Day

Upton Hall in Nottinghamshire, the headquarters of the British Horological Institute, is having a fun day on Saturday 12th September. The current grade II* listed hall was built in 1828, also houses the Museum of Timekeeping. RAF Waddington Amateur Radio Club will be operating their radios (callsign G0RAF) to promote the event.

Mark your diaries and come along to the Pyewipe shack for what promises to be a fascinating talk by Nigel, who survived after his life support was turned off following a motorcycle crash. Since then, Nigel has gained his Foundation licence and broken motorcycle speed records, despite loss of vision and a brain injury!
