Until March 1999, the RAF Waddington ARC held its meetings at RAF Waddington, 5 miles south of Lincoln Cathedral. With the significant expansion of air base personnel, room on the camp became a premium, and numerous RAF clubs relocated off base. The club now meets at the Pyewipe Inn, 2 miles west of Lincoln Cathedral.
The club enjoys a dedicated 20-square-metre shack within Pyewipe’s grounds, with an abundance of space available for the erection and use of various antennae.
The club room and equipment are set up to operate in all modes and are open to all who are interested in any aspect of radio communication, whether ex-service personnel or not.
Club meetings are held on Thursday nights from 19:30. There is a regular weekly club net on the air every Monday from 19:30; you can find us either on GB3LM or on 145.325 MHz.
